E. HENRY "HANK" ROGERS has built a commercially-based futures business primarily trading cattle and related markets since joining Frontier in 1995. He maintains a large geographical base of cattle feeding, ranching and order buying customers ranging from the Texas plains to the northern cornbelt. In addition to flat price and basis hedging, he monitors and trades numerous spread relationships, such as live cattle, live hog, live cattle, feeder cattle, and the Cattle Crush. Hank also manages speculative accounts for investors wishing to diversify their portfolio with futures and options.

Hank was raised and educated in Texas. He received both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Agriculture degrees from Texas A&M University in the field of Beef Cattle Production. In 1988, he went to work for Agri Beef Co., a diversified agricultural-based firm headquartered in Boise, Idaho. In the field, his duties included shipping and receiving company cattle and setting up preconditioning programs for calves to be fed in one of Agri Beef's four feedyards. In the office, his responsibilities were primarily related to market analysis and carcass performance of cattle slaughtered on a value-based agreement. In 2000, Hank joined Frontier's Kansas City office.

In the four years prior to joining Frontier Risk Management, he served as the Marketing Director for the Nebraska Cattlemen Association. His responsibilities included the coordination of the Marketing Reporting Service, an information network designed to assist cattle feeders in their procurement, risk management and marketing decisions. While serving on Nebraska Cattlemen's Marketing Committee, Hank worked with cattle feeders to promote changes in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange's Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle contracts.
