- DANIEL BLUNTZER joined Frontier Risk Management in
February of 1999 as a Livestock Analyst, supporting the FRM staff and
their customers in overall trading decisions and livestock and meat
outlooks. He assists in both production and price modeling and is
responsible for researching specific livestock trading strategies. In
addition, he maintains an extensive historical database of livestock,
meat, and futures prices.
- Daniel received an undergraduate degree in Animal Science
and a graduate degree in Agriculture Economics, both from Texas A&M
University. In 1994, he went to work for Cargill Investor Services in
Chicago where he worked as a livestock analyst and broker. In late 1995,
he accepted the position of Hog and Pork Analyst with Sparks Companies
in Memphis, TN. While there, he focused on commercial and retail risk
management consulting based on quantitative supply and demand
studies.

- Prior to joining Frontier Risk Management, Daniel worked
for Koch Agriculture Company in Wichita, KS, as the Beef Trading Leader.
His responsibilities included pricing, trading, and risk management of
company feedlot cattle, as well as, directing fundamental and economic
modeling of the beef cattle sector. Daniel has recently moved to Texas
and opened the Frontier Robstown, Texas office. In addition to his
research work, Daniel will be providing complete marketing and risk
management services.
